Every politician, every billionaire, and Hollywood or media personality is, by definition, a member of the elite.
Elite: “the richest, most powerful, best-educated, or best-trained group in a society”
If the elite person in question is a member of the “rich and powerful” subcategory, and is denigrating those who are members of the “best-educated or best-trained” subcategory, they are automatically full of shit and should be ignored.
